To maintain the quality of our directory, salons must meet these criteria:

Must be a physical location in one of NYC's five boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island)
Business Status
Must be currently operational with verified business license and insurance
Online Presence
Active Google Business Profile or other online listing with verified customer reviews
Minimum Rating
Maintain at least a 4.0-star average rating from verified customer reviews
Professional Standards
Licensed cosmetologists/barbers, clean facilities, and professional customer service
Submission Process
